“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision” – Helen Keller
Sometimes our physical sight is the biggest detriment to our spiritual vision. What we see in the natural gets in the way of what God wants us to see in the supernatural. Remember that as believers we are commanded to:
“Walk by faith; not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
The problem with our natural sight is that what we see creates preconceived ideas that may not be necessarily true. For example – we look at people and immediately make a judgment about them based on what type of clothing they wear or their physical appearance. Unfortunately, our treatment of that person is based on the perception gained only by our physical eyes.
What would happen if you would start seeing people through spiritual eyes instead of physical ones? Your vision would awaken and you would be able to see beyond the façade of what people want you to think.
What would happen if you would start to see what you were capable of doing through spiritual eyes instead of physical ones? Instead of seeing all of the difficulties that are standing in your way of fulfilling the desire of your life; you would only see the vision of living out that desire. When you see that vision clearly then the difficulties seem to blur and fade off into the distance.
Too many of us are living by eyesight rather than vision. People may be able to take away your eyesight but they can never take away your vision. Your vision lives deep inside of your soul and cannot be touched by circumstance or situation. You are the only one that can keep your vision alive or let it die. Because remember:
“Where there is no vision – the people perish”(Proverbs 29:18)
How is your vision today? Stoke it up and see clearly that nothing is standing in your way to fulfilling the dreams of your life. Vision is the most powerful weapon you possess!
