As we continue our Christmas sermon series, we come to the moment where Mary receives the message that she will give birth to the Son of God. To this young woman, this was an impossible feat. On her own, she could not understand how she could be the mother of the Son of God. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, God moved in her in a way that brought about the salvation of us all.
