Last week, we discussed Daniel’s vision of seventy weeks of years, and how that relates not only to the future of the nation of Israel, but the world as a whole. We discussed the coming of the Antichrist, a future world leader who will cause all people to worship him. But the book of Revelation gives us a vision of his companion, the False Prophet, and how this prophet will parody the work of the Holy Spirit in leading the world in idolatrous worship of the Antichrist.
