Great Expectations

In Acts chapter 3, we’re given the story of a man who has lain for years at a Jerusalem gate called Beautiful, begging those passing by for some money so he could survive. But one day, he encountered the Apostle Peter, and his world was changed. Though the Apostle didn’t have any money to give him, he did have something much more powerful and valuable.

The power that Peter displayed that day in Jerusalem is not limited to that one incident. Every believer has been promised the gifts of the Holy Spirit. So what can this incident given to us in the book of Acts tell us about the ways we can parter with God in His work today? Join Pastor Scott Phenis as he explores this story further in this sermon entitled Great Expectations.
