After the miraculous resurrection of Jesus, the disciples went through a whirlwind period of time in which Jesus appeared to them, and then ascended to Heaven. Before He did, though, He instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit was given to them. Between the Resurrection and Pentecost, there were 40 days of waiting, praying, and hoping. Join us as we take this journey together, examining the different disciples and their reactions to Jesus’ resurrection and their wait for the Holy Spirit. This week, we look at Thomas, and his doubt of Jesus’ return at the very beginning of these 40 days. Join Dr. Mark Lantz for Part 1 of “40”.
