Trust Me, I'm a Doctor -- Part 5
For as well-known as the teachings of Jesus are, sometimes the most well-known get overlooked or flat-out ignored. The teachings of Christ are to be our guidelines for living as Christians in a world dedicated to its own ends, but oftentimes we simply ignore His teachings, either because they are so familiar, or simply because they’re too difficult to process.
One such teaching is “love your enemy.” Many of us have heard it, to the point that we barely register it when it is mentioned. But do we actually know what loving our enemies looks like? Do we know how to actually live in this world the way Jesus commanded us to? Jesus came to turn the world upside down, and truly abiding by His teachings will mean living upside down ourselves. Join Dr. Mark Lantz as he continues his survey of the book of Luke in Part 5 of Trust Me, I’m a Doctor: Upside Down.
