Trust Me, I'm a Doctor -- Part 7
Have you ever met a spoiled brat? Odds are the answer to that question is yes. It seems as if we are surrounded by people (both children and adults) that seem to expect everything to be done for them and to be given whatever they want on demand. That attitude can be frustrating, but Jesus warned us that anyone can become spoiled, and what’s worse, they’re spiritually spoiled.
In Luke chapter 7, Jesus used the example of spoiled children playing games in the marketplace to call out the Jewish nation on their entitled attitude toward God. But that attitude did not die out with Jesus’ generation. It is still alive and well today, and we would do well to take Jesus’ warning and examine our own hearts.
