Trust Me, I'm a Doctor -- Part 4
We’re slowly but surely making our way through the book of Luke, and we’ve come to one of Jesus’ most famous sayings: “No one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.” But what did Jesus mean by this? What was He trying to communicate to His disciples about Himself and our relationship with Him?
So far, we’ve made some wonderful discoveries as we’ve examined the book of Luke, but this statement is critical for any step we take forward as a church and as individuals. Are we prepared for a wave of new wine, or are we still holding onto our old wineskins, unprepared for what is to come? Join Dr. Mark Lantz as he examines this statement and its import to us in Part 4 of Trust Me, I’m a Doctor.
